The old saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” is a very wise course in reducing workplace disputes and costly problems. Untreated, bad morale grows like a cancer, spreading throughout your organization and eventually affecting recruitment, retention, productivity, customer service, quality and safety. On the other hand, the creation, dissemination and communication of fair, respectful and equally applied policies and procedures have the opposite impact; increasing your organizations reputation as a great place to work and a great company with which to do business.
We advise and counsel employers on:

- Prevention training and investigation of harassment and discrimination

We defend employers on charges before federal and state agencies and when lawsuits are brought against them in federal and state courts.
Among the matters where have reprepresented employers are:
- Representing a mortgage company and stopping a former employee from competing against the company.
- Representing a supervisor accused of sexually harassing another employee and prevailing in the defense of the supervisor in a two-week jury trial.
- Defending companies against charges of discrimination filed with the EEOC/OCRC.
- Representing and prevailing in the defense of a small college against a faculty member’s claims of national origin and r ace discrimination in a jury trial.
- Conducting numerous Harassment and Discrimination Prevention, training supervisors and employees at employers of all sizes in many different industries.
- Representing a small business not compensated for its services provided to a large out-of-state organization.
