Paul J. Corrado Expands His Labor and Employment Law Practice
In November 2001, after 16 years practicing labor and employment law at
major law firms, Attorney Paul J. Corrado opened his own office and
intends to expand his practice.
Mr. Corrado continues his representation employers in employment matters
and advising them on employment practices and human resource issues in
both union-free and organized workplaces. Additionally, he represents
individuals in employment matters, including employment and severance
agreements and workplace dispute resolution. "I see stepping out on my
own as an opportunity to work with both employers and employees to
resolve problems that arise and prevent others through sound employment
practices. This area of the law offers countless ways to find practical
solutions to workplace problems," Corrado said.
He also intends to combine his legal experience with his child advocacy
and social work background and devote part of his practice to legal
issues involving children, their families and the educational settings,
social agencies and communities in which they live.
Prior to entering private law practice, Mr. Corrado served as a law
clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Richey, Judge for the United States
District Court for the District of Columbia. He has been a partner with
firms in Cleveland and Pittsburgh and is admitted to practice in Ohio.
He is a member of the Ohio Cuyahoga County and Cleveland Bar
Associations. He regularly speaks to and conducts training for
companies, organizations, associations and seminar groups on a full
range of employment topics.
A magna cum laude graduate of the Case Western Reserve School of Law,
Mr. Corrado earned his masters degree in social work from Columbia
University and worked with children and their families prior to and
after joining the bar.
